A Morris dance is a form of English folk dance that is usually accompanied by music. It is based on rhythmic stepping and using implements such as sticks, swords, and handkerchiefs may also be wielded by the dancers.
The Morris man is carved from Lime wood and the detail is in Pyrography. There are red and gold metal bells on his ankles. The mount is 30.8 cm X 25.5cm and is veneered with Mahogany.
