My version of Alphonse Mucha's "La Plume" (The Feather) was my demonstration piece at my wood carving exhibition at the Apple Craft Centre in 2009. The original art work was dated 1899 and was designed by Alphonse Mucha, whose works became synonymous with the Art Noueau movement in the 1900's.

The portrait is carved from Beech wood and is high-lighted with Pyrography.

The mount for the portrait is veneered with Sapele and the dimensions of this piece are 67 cm x 48 cm.
